Just for the record, here is a shot from Joel's own awesome circumnavigation of the island yesterday in torrential rain. Joel, Allen Kirby and dad walked around the waters edge.

First circumnavigation!

Here are the adventurers. Today, I walked around the island unassisted with oxygen or baby carrier. With Joel, imogen and dad, we set out from the house, walked down past the fireshed to the park, then around the road past Cargo. At Bells we made our way along the waterfront to Carol's where we made the final ascent to home.

Creature features

Ok, I don't normally post unsavoury images of other's misfortunes, but here is poor dad after he popped a blood vessel. Apparently it wasn't a technical mishap on re-entering the atmosphere as first reported. It was a sneeze. Nice one dad.
